BlackBerry PlayBook LTE Release Date - BlackBerry manufacturer, Research in Motion, BlackBerry is still delaying the launch of 10. However, RIM has other plans, namely updating the line of tablets.

Citing Mashable pages, RIM said it will release the latest version of the BlackBerry Playbook next week. This time, RIM will supplement tablet with a super fast LTE network.

The tablet will be launched for a number of providers in Canada on August 9, among others, Rogers, Telus, and Bell. These tablets will be launched to the United States and Europe, in the coming months.


But what kind of specs of this tablet? LTE Playbook is rumored to be strengthened 1.5 GHz processor, and a 7 inch screen with a resolution of 1024x600p. The tablet will be equipped with a 5MP main camera and secondary camera of 3 MP.

This specification does not have a lot of changes compared to previous versions. The difference, simply use the old version Playbook 1 GHZ processor. In addition, the latest Playbook, there is no option of 16 GB of storage capacity. In the latest version, the Playbook will be equipped with a capacity of 32 Gb and microSD slot for additional capacity.

Previously, RIM considered to have failed in selling Playbook. BlackBerry Playbook failed to achieve its sales target of 600 thousand units, as expected RIM in the second quarter last year. In that period, RIM only sold 200 thousand units of Playbook.

Is the BlackBerry Playbook with LTE network will have an influence on the rise of RIM? Apparently not. Moreover, many countries do not yet have a good LTE network.
