iOS 6 Beta 4 Jailbreak On iPhone 4 (GSM/CDMA), 3GS And iPod Touch 4G With Redsn0w 0.9.13dev3 - On Monday, the Cupertino tech giant released the fourth beta of the OS, iOS 6 beta 4 build 10A5376e, to developers just three weeks after the third beta. The new iOS 6 beta, released as an over-the-air (OTA) update, is also available in the iOS Dev Center.

iOS 6 is considered a major update with significant changes from Apple. One of the key features and improvements included in the new OS is Apple's own advanced mapping system, offering the benefit of 3D mapping, fly-over city tours and efficient turn-by-turn navigation.

"JB devs can continue using redsn0w 0.9.13dev3 with todays iOS 6 beta4 (keep pointing redsn0w at iOS 6 beta3 IPSW)," MuscleNerd tweeted.
However, there are a few important aspects to keep in mind:
  • Redsn0w must be pointed at iOS 6 beta3 IPSW.
  • Since these beta versions of iOS 6 are meant for developers only, this jailbreak is also intended only for developers of jailbroken apps to update their Cydia packages to support iOS 6.
  • This jailbreak will not install Cydia since a number of packages have not been updated to support the new firmware.
